Established in 1975, the Stanley River Wolves Rugby League Football Club is a proud, community-driven club based in Woodford QLD, a small country town in the Stanley River Region. Community sits at the core of everything we do, bringing together players, families, volunteers, and supporters in a strong and connected environment.
At the heart of our club is a simple belief:

From our youngest juniors through to our senior teams, we focus on respect, teamwork, discipline, and a genuine love of the game. We are deeply committed to developing our juniors to aspire to become lifelong Wolves, progressing through the club and proudly representing our senior and representative teams.

Senior Player Development
Our senior program is built on creating strong local role models and future club leaders. We are proud of a pathway where our juniors grow into our local heroes, representing the Stanley River Wolves with pride at senior and representative levels.
We are committed to developing a strong and sustainable women’s program, alongside our men’s teams, ensuring opportunity and excellence across the whole club. Our on-field success, including championship-winning teams, reflects the strength of our development model, culture, and commitment to doing things the right way.
Junior Player Development
Our junior program focuses on creating positive experiences, strong foundations, and clear pathways. We support junior players to progress into higher-level opportunities through the Falcons system, while also providing a clear pathway into our own senior Wolves teams.
Beyond football skills, we place strong emphasis on friendship, confidence, resilience, and enjoyment of the game. Our goal is for every junior to develop life skills, form lifelong friendships, and grow a lasting connection to the Stanley River Wolves while enjoying rugby league in a safe, supportive environment.
