Jackson & Mack representing the Club…

The Stanley River Wolves are proud to announce that Jackson Sambrooks has been selected in the Mal Meninga Cup Under 19s team for Round 1 of the 2026 season.

Jackson will take the field on Friday 14 February at Jack Manski Oval, Townsville, with kick-off at 5:00pm, representing his region in one of Queensland Rugby League’s premier junior representative competitions.

The Mal Meninga Cup program enjoyed a strong and competitive campaign last season, continuing its reputation as a key development pathway for emerging talent and a stepping stone toward higher representative honours. Selection in the squad reflects both performance and potential, and Jackson’s inclusion is a credit to his hard work and commitment.

The Stanley River Wolves congratulate Jackson on this achievement and wish him all the best for Round 1 and the season ahead. The club looks forward to following his progress and supporting him as he takes this next step in his rugby league journey.

Mack Weaver, U17, has also been selected in the Falcons Cyril Connell Squad who kick off their campagin in Townville at 3:30pm on the 14th February.
