The Power of Volunteers: What a WEEKEND!

Powered by Volunteers: A Huge Weekend for the Stanley River Wolves

The Stanley River Wolves are a proudly volunteer-run club, and this weekend was a perfect example of what can be achieved when our community comes together.

On Saturday, volunteers gave their time to run a car wash and BBQ fundraiser, washing more than 70 cars and selling out of all Wolves sausages. From early starts to pack-down, every part of the day was made possible by volunteers who stepped up to support the club and help raise important funds for the season ahead.

Sunday continued that momentum with a highly successful Junior Sign-On Day, once again delivered entirely by volunteers. From registrations and setup to welcoming families and keeping activities running smoothly, our volunteers worked tirelessly to create a positive and inclusive experience for new and returning juniors.

The club also thanks Flossy’s Footy Academy for donating their time to run junior drills throughout the day, and Intersport Morayfield for supporting families through their pop-up shop. Their involvement added real value to the day and helped make sign-on a great experience for our junior players.

Every training session, game day, fundraiser and event at the Stanley River Wolves is driven by volunteers who give their time for the love of the club. Their reward is seeing kids smiling, families connecting and the Wolfpack continuing to grow.

Thank you to every volunteer who contributed across the weekend and continues to help make this club what it is.
